Cinnamon rice with suya and peppered grilled chicken

Soak skewers in water for 30mins so u wouldn't end up with dry suya(wooden skewers absorn the moisture from ur meat). Set the marinade ingredients and blend to a paste. (I used olive oil, stock cubes, onga, vinegar, lemon, kuli-kuli, onions, ginger, garlic, bell and scotch bonnet peppers, curry,thyme, onion powder, parsley and mixed spice). Apply to the chicken and beef and marinate for sometime

Grill on open fire for sometime, to get that smoky taste. Transfer to oven and grill until tender

If u are using a convection oven, add the marinade sauce from time to time or you'd end up with dry grills. (Unless you're peppering)

For the rice: same procedure and ingredients with fried rice except curry/turmeric. You'd also add a lot of cinnamon and dark soy sauce for color
