Steps

Take wheat flour, rava in a mixing bowl. Add cumin seeds, ajwain, black pepper powder, asafoetida, salt and ghee. Mix well.

Add water and make a tight dough, add more water if required. cover it and rest for 20 minutes.

Now make slightly thick roti. Cut small round puri by using cookie cutter. Prick each mathari with fork.

Heat the oil in a pan on low flame. Fry it till it becomes golden brown on both side.

Take them out over tissu paper. Sprinkle some chat masala and red chilli powder (optional). Let it cool down. Store it in airtight container.
