Ingredients

  • 12. 2 cups of Acha (fonio)
  • 1. 4 chicken breast
  • 2. 1 whole onion
  • 3. 1 tsp fresh ginger
  • 4. 1 tsp garlic
  • 5. 1/4 olive oil
  • 6. 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 7. 1/2 cup each of shredded red, yellow & green bell pepper
  • 8. 1cup of broccoli & cabbage
  • 9. 1 cup of cauli flower
  • 10. Curry & thyme
  • 11. Bouillon cube or seasoning
  • 12. 2 cups of Acha (fonio)
  • 13. 2 cups of water

Steps

    Wash all ingredients. Shred the chicken breast,onions, and all other vegetables then set aside.

    In a sauce pan,pour in your olive oil,add onions,ginger and garlic. Fry until golden brown,add in the shredded chicken breast,and stir until soft and tender. Add in your spices,curry and thyme,salt and seasonings. Then pour in all the vegetables and stir fry for 3 minutes.

    Wash and dry the Acha.(fonio). In a pot pour in 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil. Then add in the Acha and stir until its thick. Then cover to steam for 5 minutes.
