This recipe is my fusion version of Mexican Tacos. Giving it an Indian taste with Indian Spices presenting my Fusion Desi Tacos 🌮. It tastes really good and I was appreciated for every time by those who tasted these. We can make it both in veg and non veg way. The stuffs should be dry and not soggy gravies. The tortillas again can be made both the way like by frying in oil or by heating them in microwave. Here I will show you in both the way with veg and non-veg Tacos 🌮

Desi Tacos 🌮

Ingredients

  1. 2 tablespooncorn flour
  2. 1/2 cupall purpose flour
  3. 1/2 cupwheat flour
  4. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  5. 200 gramsboneless chicken
  6. 2 tablespooncurd
  7. 1/2 teaspoonSalt
  8. 1/3 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  9. 1 tablespoonginger garlic paste
  10. 1medium size onion chopped
  11. 1/2 tablespoontandoori masala
  12. 1/3 tablespoongaram masala powder
  13. For the salad
  14. 1Sliced onions
  15. 1capsicum sliced in strips
  16. 1tomato sliced in strips
  17. 1-2 cupcabbage chopped
  18. Chaat masala
  19. Mayonnaise
  20. Tomato ketchup
  21. Oil for deep frying
  22. Chopped green chilli
  23. Lemon juice
  24. leavesChopped Coriander

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate the chicken with curd, salt, red chilli powder, tandoori masala, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, onions and cook it after 15 minutes. No oil is required to cook the chicken here. When the chicken are cooked minced it with the spatula and make it like shredded chicken. Keep aside

    Now for the Tortillas, mix all purpose flour, wheat flour, corn flour and salt together and bind it with water to make a dough

    Let it rest for some time and then take a small lemon size portion of it and roll it flat like Poori. You can cut the shape of it with a cutter for a perfect equal size Tacos. Heat them slightly both the sides and keep aside.

    Now heat oil in medium flame and fry them. After frying both the sides, take it out from the oil and hold it keeping a spatula stick in between to give a Tacos shape

    Keep them ready aside.

    For the veg Tacos, you can make the stuffing with aloo gobi dry and place the chopped salad in it and garnish it with Chaat masala, tomato ketchup, mayonnaise and coriander leaves

    For the chicken Tacos, same way stuffing is done. The tacos are slightly heated in tawa and then microwave it for 30secs in a grill rack to give the shape. Serve with some lemon juice over it.
