Ingredients

  1. 1.5 cupall purpose flour
  2. 1/2 cuppowdered sugar
  3. 1/2 cupoil or melted butter
  4. 2 tbspchopped cashewnuts, raisins,cherry,petha
  5. 1 tspvanilla essence
  6. 1 tbsplemon juice
  7. 2 tbspcondensed milk
  8. 1/2 cupwarm milk approximately
  9. 1 tspbaking powder
  10. 1 sachetlemon Eno
  11. Pinchsalt

Steps

    Seive the flour in a bowl and add pinch of salt and baking powder.Melt butter in a pan.Add sugar and condensed milk.Blend very well in a mixer grinder or hand blender.Slowly add the mixture to the flour Add warm milk slowly and whipw with a fork or blender thoroughly.Add vanilla essence.

    Add chopped dry fruits according to your choice.Mix again.The batter should be smooth and of dropping consistency.If it's very thick then cake will turn hard.Meanwhile grease a cake pan and spread a butter paper underneath.Sprinkle little flour on the paper.

    Now add 1 tsp Eno fruit salt and mix thoroughly.Immediately transfer the content in the cake pan.

    Place the pan in a preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.Pierce a sharp knife in the middle of the cake.If it comes out clean,then it's done.Bake for another 5 minutes so that a nice brown colour appears on the cake.Cool and demould the cake on a plate. Serve delicious sponge cake with a cup of tea.

hello mam can u pls tell at which stage we have to add lemon juice. as u have mentioned lemon juice in Ingredients but not in procedure.
