Ingredients

4 persons
  1. 3 bowlsthick rice puffs
  2. 1 cupsweet corn kernels
  3. 1chopped Onion
  4. 3-4green chillies
  5. 10curry leaves
  6. 1 tbspnpeanuts
  7. 1tspn Mustard seeds
  8. 1 pinchAestofida/hing
  9. 1 tspn Turmeric powder
  10. 1 tspn lemon juice
  11. salt to taste
  12. Sugar
  13. Fresh chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Take rice puffs add water and drain it. Just leave very little water so that they become soft.

  2. 2

    Add salt and sugar as per taste to the soaked puffs and keep it aside.

  3. 3

    In a kadhai take oil add mustard seeds and peanuts. Later add hing, turmeric powder and mix.

  4. 4

    Add chopped green chillies,curry leaves and saute 1 min. add onions, corn and saute for 5 mins.

  5. 5

    Now add soaked rice puffs/poha and mix well. Squeeze lemon(optional)

  6. 6

    Cover with lid and cook for 3-5 mins and serve hot.

  7. 7

    Garnish with fresh coriander leaves., Zero no.shev or grated coconut.
