Ed's Budget Chili

I was shopping at Walmart this week and was looking to make some economic meals. I had no recipe in mind when I concocted what I feel is a simple and tastey chili meal. (This is a mild chili.)
(Great Value brand products are obtained from Walmart)
It serves 4 - 6 people.
(Please give it a try and let me know what you think. You can always tweak to your own taste.)

Steps
- 1
Fry turkey in oil until done (use large fry pan)
- 2
Add onions and fry an additional 2 minutes (for lean turkey you may want to add a little extra oil to keep meat moist)
- 3
Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil on medium heat.
- 4
Cover and simmer on low heat for 1 hour 30 minutes. (Hot sauce can be added for a little fire 😜)
- 5
Sprinkle each serving with cheddar cheese and heat in microwave until cheese melts.
- 6
Serve with crackers.
