First dry roast chanaDal,urad Dal,red chillies,grated coconut in a kadai untill it turns golden yellow in colour.Transfer it to a plate and allow it to cool down.

Now add peeled skin of ridge gourd in a kadai containing two spoons oil and shallow fry it.Allow it to cool down.

In a mixer,firstly add roasted channadal,urad Dal, red chilli,grated coconut and add tamarind and grind it coarsely.Then add ridge gourd peeled skin and add salt and add lilltle water to grind it to a paste.Then add tempering to the chutney.This can be served with rice,roti and even dosa.
