In a bowl, beat the egg with salt, pepper, and oregano. In a separate bowl, mix the flour with the cornstarch. Combine the egg mixture with the flour mixture. If the batter is too thick, add a little water until smooth.

Cut the fish into thin strips and dip them into the batter.

Fry the fish strips in hot oil until golden brown. Place them on a plate lined with a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Warm the tortillas. Add the fried fish, a little pico de gallo, cream cheese, avocado, and your favorite salsa.
