Coconut barfi is a commonly and easily made sweet with coconut and condensed milk, devoured during the festive season.

Soak the dessicated coconut in warm milk and keep aside for half an hour.

In a thick bottom pan,heat up ghee and add coconut milk mixture.

Stir this mix for 2-3 mins on low flame.

Add milkmaid and cardamom powder and keep stirring on low flame.
- 5
Add sugar and stir the mix till it comes whole as a lump and ghee starts releasing from sides.

Put the mix in a greased thali or pan and put chopped nuts on top.

Let it cool then cut into any shape of your choice.
