Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cupAmaranth Flour
  2. 1/4 cupWater Chestnut Flour
  3. 1/2 cupFresh coconut powder
  4. 1 cupRipe mashed banana
  5. 1/2 cupPowdered Sugar
  6. 1/2 cupPlain yoghurt
  7. 3/4 cupWarm milk
  8. 4 tspDesi ghee
  9. 1/2 tspElaichi powder
  10. 1 tspBaking Powder
  11. 8-9seedless dates

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak dates in hot water.when it get soft grind it smooth paste.

  2. 2

    Sieve rajgira ata, vari ata, singhara ata, baking powder & baking soda. Mix all the dry ingredients well. Keep aside.

  3. 3

    In another bowl add mashed banana, desi ghee, sugar, yoghurt & mix throughly.

  4. 4

    Add elaichi powder & coconut. Mix well.

  5. 5

    Add the mixture of dry ingredients slowly. Start adding milk as required. Add dry mixture & milk alternately till all the mixture is finished & you get required batter consistancy.

  6. 6

    Pour the mixture in a greased tin.

  7. 7

    Bake the cake in oven at 180 C for 25 minutes.

  8. 8

    You can bake the cake in cooker or on gas stove using non stick pan.
    This cake turns out little moist & tastes heavenly.

  9. 9

    Sprinkle some coconut powder and cut it.
