Steps

Wash and soak the dal for an hour.

Heat oil in a cooker with chopped onions.

Cook till they become little brown add ginger garlic paste,cook till aroma smells off.

Now add red chilli powder and turmeric powder,mix well and stir for a second.

Add chopped tomatoes, mix well and stir for a minute.

Now add all chopped green chillies & salt.Mix well and stir.

Add all chopped vegetables and mix well.

Now drain the water from the dal and add it.Mix again.

Add all the chopped greens,mix well & stir for a minute.

Now add 2 Cups water.

Covet the cooker with lid and allow 3 whistles.

Let it cool down and then open the cover.

Now mash all with the masher.

Heat 2 tbsp of pure ghee in a pan with cumin seeds.

When they crackle up,add chopped garlic cloves.mix well & stir for a second.

Now add hing & dry mango powder.mix well & switch off the flame.Pour this tempering over the cooked veggies.

Cook on low flame for 5 minutes.Serve hot with jerra rice or chapati.
