Prepared the Tikki with some spinach & chana. But the main thing in this sandwich is the onion chutney flavoured with orange juice, which give it a nice tangy taste. Instead of mayonnaise used hung curd which is healthy and good to have in summer😊😊

First grind onion, tomato, red chilli, half of the garlic into a smooth paste.

Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Add little mustard seeds. Let it crackle. Then add onion paste into it and fry on med flame. When the raw smell goes, add salt and orange juice in it. Switch off the flame and let it cool.

To make the spinach and Cheakpea tikki, mix blanched and chopped spinach, boiled Cheakpea, remaining garlic and green chilli (according to your taste). grind it. Then add breadcrumbs, salt, chat masala, roasted jeera powder to it.

Put little water on your palm to make round shape tikkies out of it. Now shallow fry all tikkies on med flame.

Take the brown bread slices and cut into round shape.

Time to assemble the sandwiches.

First take a slice and put a thick layer of onion chutney. Then put a tikki over it. Now put hung curd(put the curd in a piping bag and make a hole on the edge of the piping bag) over the Tikki. Arrange a carrot slice over it. Then little onion chutney. Put another small tikki over it. Then little hung curd and garnish with a small piece of orange. Serve these sandwiches with some shredded fresh veggies. That's it😊.
