Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease doughnut pan with oil.
- 2
In a big bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, pudding mix, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, oil and vanilla extract. Pour over dry ingredients and mix it properly. Toss pista with 1 teaspoon flour, then gently fold into batter.
- 3
With a small spoon, scoop batter into prepared doughnut pan until each “mould” is 3/4 full, then smooth out surface. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and doughnut springs back lightly when touched. Let cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then removing from pan to cool completely.
- 4
Glaze preparation: In a bowl whisk together sugar, honey, milk and hung curd and make it smooth. Add more milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, as necessary to create a thick but still pourable glaze. Once doughnuts have completely cooled, dip them top-side down into glaze. Transfee doughnuts to wire rack and sprinkle immediately with chopped pista. Allow glaze to set and then serve delicious Doughnuts.
