Carrot Holige/Poli

In the cooker add cleaned and chopped carrot and milk cook up to 2 whistle. Grind the Cooked carrot smooth paste. Heat the pan add 2 tsp Ghee and carrot paste saute add sugar mix well add Khoya and Badam powder mix well, when the mixture becomes thick add cardamom powder mix and keep aside, allow to cool. Stuff is ready.

In the mixing bowl add maida, semolina salt, turmeric powder mix add water to make soft dough. Knead the dough. Pour oil on the dough, soak up to 30 minutes.

Knead the oil soaked dough and make small portion roll flatten fill carrot mixture seal properly and roll flatten. Heat the tawa cook flatten holige/ poli, cook both sides if need add oil, cook till turns golden colour. Transfer to serving plate, Serve immediately with Ghee and milk. Enjoy carrot holige/ poli, specially for Holi festival.
