It's a must recipe to prepare during Holi Festival. Stuffing of mawa, suji and dry fruits elevates this gujiya's taste. So do cook this delicacy and enjoy bursting flavours.

Making the stuffing:
Heat the pan on medium heat. Add suji. Keep stirring continuously and Cook till it becomes light brown. Now add mawa and mix nicely and keep stirring till it also becomes golden.
Add dry fruits now. - 2
Now on low flame mix everything nicely. Stuffing is ready. Keep it aside to cool completely.

Making the dough:
4. Mix all purpose flour and salt in a bowl.
Drizzle ghee and rub it into flour using your fingertips. It will be breadcrumb like texture.
Start adding little water at a time. - 4
Knead into stiff and smooth dough.Cover it and let it rest for 15 minutes.

After the resting time of the dough, knead the dough once again. Divide it into 10 equal portions. Roll into a smooth small chapati. Put about a tablespoon stuffing in it.

Apply little water around the edges.Fold it into half circle. Seal the edges by pressing it. Or use gujiya moulds to shape well. Make all the gujiya and keep them covered with kitchen towel to prevent it from drying out.

Heat the oil on medium heat for frying. Once it is hot enough, then fry few at a time, flip or move in between for even browning.

Once it is golden brown and crispy from all sides, use the slotted spoon to remove it. Remove it to paper towel lined plate and let it cool completely.Now garnish ready gujiyas with rose petals, silver warq and dry fruits before serving. Enjoy yummy and delicious gujiyas during Holi festival.It can be enjoyed during any celebrations.
