Making the stuffing : Heat the mawa in a pan on a medium heat.

Cook till it becomes light brown, turn off the stove.

Remove it to a bowl & let it cool down to slightly warm.

Now add sugar, caradomom power, almonds, raisins.

Mix it well.

Making the dough: Mix maids & salt in a bowl.

Drizzle ghee & rub it into maida using your finger tips. It will be bread crumb like texture.

Start adding little water at a time. Need into stiff & smooth dough.

Cover it & rest for 15 min.

Making mawa gujhiya recipe : After the resting time of the dough, knead the dough once again & decide into 10 equal portion, roll into a smooth ball.

Roll into a 4 inch diameter circle.

Put about a tbsp stuffing in the center.

Apply little water around the edges using your finger.

Fold it into a half circle. Seal the edges by pressing it. (you can make gujya like samosa).

Make all the gujya & keep them cover with the kitchen towel.

Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat for frying.

Fry few gujhiya at a time, flip or move in b/w for even browning.

Once it is golden brown and crispy from all sides remove it.

Remove it to a paper towel & let it cool completely before serving.
