  • 1 poundboneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoonolive oil
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 1 teaspoonpepper
  • 2 tablespoonssauce or juice, optional

    Sprinkle 1 tablespoon each of salt and pepper on 1 pound of boneless skinless chicken breasts.

  2. 2

    Heat a skillet on the stove on medium heat.

  3. 3

    Oil the skillet with 1 tablespoon olive oil. As an option to add flavor, add 2 tablespoons of a sauce or juice.

  4. 4

    As the olive oil begins to sizzle, add the chicken breasts.

  5. 5

    Cover the skillet and cook for 5 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

  6. 6

    Turn off the stove heat and let the chicken breasts cool for 2 minutes.

  7. 7

    Optional: Use the remaining juice in the skillet as a sauce for the chicken!

  8. 8

    Enjoy!
