In large mixing bowl take 2 cups of wheat flour and 1/2 cup of besan.

Further add 1 cup of finely chopped methi leaves. make sure to wash the leaves well and discard the stem.additionally, add ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp red chilli powder, ¼ tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp ginger paste, ½ tsp ajwain and salt to taste.add 2 tsp of oil to make paratha more soft.

And start mixing the dough. Slowly add water and start making the dough.
Do not pour all the water at once. Once the dough starts to bind together add water very slowly.Finish the dough up by adding 1 tablespoon of oil and form it into a smooth round ball.

Roll to 5 inches using rolling pin.

Additionally, grease with ghee or oil. this enhances the flavour of paratha.bundle it up and flatten to ball.further roll it in a thick circle like paratha.

Now on a hot tawa place the rolled paratha and cook for a minute.also brush oil and press slightly.

Finally, serve methi paratha with pickle
