Soak nuggets in buttermilk for 30+ minutes

Mix dry ingredients when ready to coat

Coat nuggets in dry ingredients, making sure they are well covered

Fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown (or crispy/burnt if you like)

Set them out to cool, and sprinkle salt on nuggets
