Ingredients

  1. 1.5 cupRice, soaked for 1 hour
  2. as required Water
  3. For marination:-
  4. 1 cupCurd
  5. 250 gmsMushrooms chopped
  6. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  7. Pinchorange food colour
  8. 1 tbspJeera powder / cumin powder
  9. 1 tbspCoriander powder-
  10. 1 tspTurmeric powder
  11. 1 tspKasuri methi
  12. leavesas required Mint
  13. leavesas required Coriander
  14. 2Potato diced
  15. Rice
  16. 2 cupsWater
  17. as required Desi ghee
  18. 2Cardamom
  19. 1Star anise
  20. 1 stickDalchini
  21. 2Cloves
  22. 1 tspJeera / cumin
  23. as per tatse Salt
  24. Making Biryani
  25. as neededOil
  26. 2Green chilli in slits
  27. 2Green cardamom
  28. 1sick Dalchini
  29. 2Cloves
  30. 1Onion- sliced
  31. 1Tomato finely chopped
  32. Marination
  33. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  34. as neededSaffron milk
  35. 1/2 bowlFried onion
  36. 2 tbspGinger garlic paste
  37. leavesas required Mint
  38. leavesas required Coriander
  39. Boondi raita
  40. 1/2 cupBoondi
  41. 1small bowl whisked Curd
  42. as per tatse Salt
  43. 1 tspRed chilli powder

Steps

30-45 min
  1. 1

    For marination:firstly add all ing in mixing bowl and mix well.keep this marination for 30 min.

  2. 2

    Boil rice by adding all ingredients cook rice only 75 % not full and cool rice.

  3. 3

    Next in a pan start making biryani add oil,cardamom,green chilli,onion cook for 5 min till it changes colour next add tomato cook till it becomes soft and mushy next add marination and mix well and cover it with lid for 5-10 min till potato cooks next add rice,fried onion,saffron milk,mint leaves,coriander leaves cover the pan with aluminium foil for dum cover with lid for 10 min on low or medium flame and switch off flame and open pan after 20 min.

    Make raita with all ingredients and pour in bowl.sprinkle red chilli powder

  5. 5

    Serve hot.Garnish with coriander leaves.
