Boil the sliced mushrooms for about a minute on high flame to remove mutants if any. Turn off the heat and put them aside and let it soften on residual heat.

Heat some oil and drop cinnamon and cardamom. Add the chopped onions and saute them. Follow it with ginger garlic paste and stir it until it looses it's raw taste.

Add the tomatoes purée. After a minute add the mushrooms. Let the paste mix well with it.

Add water, to make enough gravy and add garam masala + dhaniya + jeera + cashewnuts powder + kasuri methi+ salt + Turmeric + chilli powder. Let it rest for 5 mins. Garnish with coriander and it's ready to serve.
