Pressure cook green gram and moth beans for for 1 whistle. Pressure cook bengal gram for 4 whistles.

Heat oil in deep pan add mustard seeds when splutter add cumin seeds, when splutter add curry leaves,asafoetida, red chillies saute for 1 minute, add onions saute till light brown add tomato saute for 2 minutes now add chilli, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, misal garam masala powder and salt mix well.

Now add 4 cups of water give one boil. Add beans with water cover lid and cook for 15 minutes on medium flame stir occasionally. In serving bowl take misal add farshan,chopped onion and tomato. Serve it with paav.
