Andouille and Shrimp Fried Rice is loaded with all kinds of goodies! Spicy andouille, succulent shrimp, eggs, bacon and veggies.
Fried rice is one of my absolute favorite comfort foods. I always order it when we go out for Chinese food. Throughout the years, I have tried many different versions of fried rice. I’ve had it with pork, chicken, shrimp and only veggies Each version has it’s own good qualities. I have decided to combine my favorite aspects of each and made this Andouille and Shrimp Fried Rice In NuWave Precision Induction Wok!

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Fry andouille sausage in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp and browned. Use a slotted spoon to transfer to a plate with paper towel. Set aside.
- 2
Wipe pan over with a paper towel and heat 1 tablespoon oil. Add the eggs and scramble until fully cooked. Transfer to the plate with andouille sausage and keep warm.
- 3
Heat remaining oil in the pan. Add carrots and onion to the pan and cook until tender, (about 3-4 minutes). Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- 4
Add in the cold rice and peas and cook for 3-4 minutes until the rice begins to soften.
- 5
Add the eggs back into the pan. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, butter, sesame oil and hoisin sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes to melt butter and heat the sauce through the rice.
- 6
Garnish with green onions and serve. ENJOY!

Simple step by step instructions to make your own home cooked fried rice infused with "wok hey" which is the soul of this dish. It's difficult to replicate "wok hey" at home because home stove is not design to output super high heat. Furthermore many are using induction stove which is not design to work with wok! Fear not, below method will get you close to that "wok hey" realm. May the wok hey be with you. SALG -
