Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupTamarind
  • 1/2 tablespoonlemon juice
  • 5 tablespoonsugar
  • 1/2 teaspoonCloves
  • 1/2 teaspooncinnamon
  • I litre of water

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash Tamarind

  2. 2

    Put in pot and add cinnamon,cloves and ginger and sugar

  3. 3

    Pour a litre of water and put on fire to boil

  4. 4

    After 15 mins, whisk and sieve

  5. 5

    Allow to cool

  6. 6

    Add lime juice

  7. 7

    Refrigerate

  8. 8

    Serve
