Take a large mixing bowl.

Add besan,asefetida,salt,turmeric powder,oil,garlic paste,chilli powder and knead a stiff dough.Use little water if required

Divide the dough into 4-5 equal 10 inch cylindrical shape roll.

Boil enough water in a pan.Add rolls to the water and boil for 10-15 min..

Remove frm heat..

Take out the rolls from water and let it cool.then cut the rolls into 10 one inch piece and deep fry.

Gattas are ready.

For Pulav:-

Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a deep fry pan.Add onions and saute till they golden brown.Drain on an tissue paper and keep aside.

Heat remaining ghee in the dame pan..Now add green cardamom pods,black chiles,green chiles,bay leaf and saute on a medium heat for 30 seconds.

Add cooked gattas and saute them for about 3-4 minutes.

Add the cooked rice,fried onions,chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala,salt and mix well.

Cook well on med flame for 3-4 min..Stirr well.

Remove frm heat.

And garnish with fresh chppd coriander leaves and green chillies..And serve immediate with dahi raita and papad.
