Baking nice yummy cakes is becoming a hobby for me this days and I always have this special feeling whenever am baking . And lately I have been trying out different cake recipes and the end results are always/usually wow!
I have also been getting a lot of accolades cum encouragements for my cakes! So on Easter Sunday I decided to surprise the house with a Moist Red velvet cake and it's actually my 1st time baking a red velvet cake and the out Come was gloriously mind blowing!! 😄😄😄😄

Moist Red velvet cake!

Ingredients

  1. 5 cupsmulti purpose flour
  2. 1 tbsbaking soda
  3. 3 tbscocoa powder
  4. 1 tspsalt
  5. 1 sachetsimas butter
  6. 2 1/2 cupsugar
  7. 1 1/2 cupvegetable oil
  8. 5large eggs
  9. 2 tbsvanilla essence
  10. 1 tspvanilla flavor
  11. 2 tspvinegar
  12. 1 cupbutter milk
  13. 3 tbsred velvet color
  14. 1 1/2 cupraisins

Cooking Instructions

    Grease ur baking pan and preheat the oven to 180°C

    In a dry bowl mix all the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, vanilla flavor, salt and cocoa powder until well blended.

    In a separate bowl beat butter and sugar until Fluffy.

  4. 4

    Add vegetable oil and continue beating

  5. 5

    Add the egg yokes first leaving the white part and beat for 2minutes.

  6. 6

    Now add vinegar, vanilla and red food coloring and mix

    Fold in the butter milk

  8. 8

    Add the already mixed dry ingredients bit by bit (flour, baking soda, vanilla flavor, salt and cocoa powder.) this time u maintain the turning with a spatula

    On a very high speed whip the egg whites for 4 minutes and gradually fold it in to the barter add the raisins as well. and turn properly.

    Then transfer barter into a greased baking pan and bake for 40 minutes. And ur moist red velvet cake is ready!!!
