Ingredients

  • For the panna cotta
  • 8 1/2 cupsheavy cream (2 liters)
  • 1vanilla bean
  • 3/4 cupsugar (150 grams)
  • 7 teaspoonspowdered gelatin (20 grams)
  • For the topping
  • as neededMixed berries,
  • as neededStrawberries,

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak the gelatin in cold water. In a large saucepan, combine the heavy cream, the vanilla bean split in half, and the sugar. Bring to a boil and cook for about 3 minutes.

  2. 2

    Squeeze out the gelatin and add it to the mixture. Stir well, then pour the cream through a strainer into a mold.

  3. 3

    Let cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for 4 hours.

  4. 4

    Once set, unmold onto a serving plate and garnish as you like.
