Ingredients

  1. 4 cupsmurmura
  2. 1/4 cupputhana(roasted chana)
  3. 1/4 cupdry kopra powder
  4. 8garlic pods
  5. 3slit green chillies
  6. 1onion chopped
  7. 1 spoonthick tamarind juice
  8. 1/2 tspSalt
  9. as neededChopped coriander, tomato for garnish
  10. 2 spoonoil
  11. 1/2 tsp jeera
  12. 1/2 tspmustard
  13. Pinchturmeric

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Grind puthana, garlic, kopra into coarse powder

  2. 2

    Wash murmura. Add salt, puthana powder and tamarind juice and mix well

  3. 3

    Make tadka with oil, mustard, jeera, pinch of turmeric. Add green chillies

  4. 4

    Fry onion into golden brown. Mix the murmura mixture

  5. 5

    Garnish with coriander, tomato and serve
