Ingredients

  • 150 gmsMurmura / Puffed rice
  • 2 tbspDalia powder (roasted chickpea powder)
  • 1/4 cupPeanuts
  • 1/2 tspMustard seeds
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 sprigCurry leaves
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tbspLemon juice (optional)
  • 1 1/2 tbspOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Rinse murmura in a colander under flowing water and keep aside to drain the excess water.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a deep bottomed vessel.
    Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
    Add peanuts and saute for a minute.

  3. 3

    Add murmura and dalia powder followed by salt and turmeric powder. Mix well.
    Add lemon juice and switch off the flame.
    Serve hot.
