Ingredients

  • 1 cupurad daal / white split gram
  • 2 tbspchana daal/ bengal gram
  • as per tasteRed chilli
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 2tomatoes
  • 1 pinchhing / asafoetida
  • 1 tspturmeric
  • 1 tbspcoriander powder
  • 2 tbspghee

Steps

  1. 1

    First make paste of 2 tomatoes

  2. 2

    Now in a vessel add ghee,add paste and masala,Cook for a minute

  3. 3

    Add washed daal and 5 cups of water,cook on medium flame by uncovered,cook till daal gets done.
