Ingredients

15 minutes
6 servings
  • 1/2 kgfish (vanjaram, seer fish)
  • Spices and masala :
  • 2 tbspred chilli powder
  • 2 tbspamchoor powder
  • 2 tbspgaram masala powder
  • 1 tbspajwain / carom
  • 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  • 1 tspturmeric
  • 4 tbsproasted gram flour
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1lemon for marination
  • 1lemon to garnish
  • as neededMint leaves to garnish
  • as neededOil to shallow fry

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix all masalas in a bowl and marinate the fish with it,lemon juice and salt. Apply and rub the fish pieces well

    Heat required oil in a pan to shallow fry. Add few pieces to roast. Roast for few minutes on one side then turn side

    Sprinkle roasted gram flour and further roast for few more minutes till coated well and roasted.

    Remove and serve with lemon wedges and garnish with mint leaves. Serve hot.
