Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1/2 kgfish (vanjaram, seer fish)
  2. Spices and masala :
  3. 2 tbspred chilli powder
  4. 2 tbspamchoor powder
  5. 2 tbspgaram masala powder
  6. 1 tbspajwain / carom
  7. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  8. 1 tspturmeric
  9. 4 tbsproasted gram flour
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. 1lemon for marination
  12. 1lemon to garnish
  13. as neededMint leaves to garnish
  14. as neededOil to shallow fry

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix all masalas in a bowl and marinate the fish with it,lemon juice and salt. Apply and rub the fish pieces well

  2. 2

    Heat required oil in a pan to shallow fry. Add few pieces to roast. Roast for few minutes on one side then turn side

  3. 3

    Sprinkle roasted gram flour and further roast for few more minutes till coated well and roasted.

    Remove and serve with lemon wedges and garnish with mint leaves. Serve hot.
