Ingredients

Serves 3 servings
  • 7chicken tenders
  • 1/4 cupgranulated sugar (about 60 grams)
  • 1egg
  • as neededPotato starch,
  • as neededBreadcrumbs,
  • 1 pinchsalt
  • Thai Dipping Sauce:
  • 1/4 cupwhite vinegar (about 60 grams)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoonsbrown sugar (about 20 grams)
  • 3 tablespoonsfish sauce (about 40 grams)
  • 1/2red chili pepper, sliced

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Rub the chicken tenders with a pinch of salt.

    For the Thai dipping sauce: Combine white vinegar, granulated sugar, brown sugar, fish sauce, and red chili slices in a pot. Cook until slightly thickened.

    Coat the marinated chicken tenders with potato starch.

    Dip them in beaten egg.

    Coat with breadcrumbs, pressing them on to adhere.

    While coating with the dry ingredients, heat oil in a pan. Fry the breadcrumb-coated chicken tenders in the hot oil.

    Fry until crispy, then remove and drain the oil.

    Plate and serve with homemade Thai dipping sauce for a sweet and sour taste.
