Ingredients

15 minutes
2 servings
  • 2green chilies
  • 1 inchginger or paste
  • 3small pods garlic or 1 to 2 large pods
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • ¼ cup coconut pieces
  • as neededSalt
  • 2 tablespoon or as neededOil or ghee
  • 1 1/2 cupsmix veggies (optional) carrots, peas, potatoes, beans
  • For making paste:-
  • Handful of pudina leaves and coriander leaves (equal amount)
  • 1/2ginger
  • 2 green chilli
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1/2 tablespoon cumin
  • as per your requirements water for grinding

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    For preparation:- soak half cup basamati rice for 15minuets before cooking

  2. 2

    First of all in a cooker heat 2 tbsp ghee add cumin seeds and whole spices (cinnamon,1 bay leaf, 1-2 green cardamon, 2 cloves)

  3. 3

    Then saute them on medium flame till they become aromat.

  4. 4

    Then add sliced onion & saute along with add chopped tomatoes & saute.

  5. 5

    Then add vegetables of your choice, I have added (3,4 chopped beans, cauliflower,1/4 cup peas,1/2 capsicum,1 chopped carrot.

  6. 6

    Further add prepared Masala and saute. Then add soaked basmati rice.

  7. 7

    Stir it continuously in a medium flame and properly, then add two cups of water,salt and mix well and pressure cook for two whistle.

    And pudina Pulao is done ✅. Happy Cooking 😊
