Take pressure cooker. Add 1 cup of moong dal, 2 cups water, turmeric powder and salt as required and cook it on medium flame for 1 whistle.

Then take a kadhai. Add a cube of butter and some oil into it. Then add some dry red chilli, cumin seeds into it and let it splutter.

Then add onion and crushed garlic into it and fry it. Then add red chilli powder and mix it with onion and garlic.

Then pour boiled dal into the kadhai and mix everything properly.

At last add some coriander leaves. And stir it.

Lasooni moong daal is ready serve it with steamed rice and papad.
