This is an absolute favourite of mine. This can easily be done in the oven if you don’t have access to a braai (bbq).

This is an absolute favourite of mine. This can easily be done in the oven if you don’t have access to a braai (bbq).
Steps

Grind the fennel and cumin seeds in a pestle and mortar adding the other dry ingredients to create a dry rub

Coat the chicken with some oil and rub on the spice mix.

Once the braai (bbq) is ready place half a can of larger on the stand and place the chicken on top. Cook for between 1 hour and 10 minutes to 1 hour and a half. Once cooked remove and allow to rest before serving.
