Ingredients

  • 4 1/3 cupsflour (about 650 grams)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoonsactive dry yeast
  • 1 cupmilk (about 250 ml)
  • 1/3 cupbutter (about 75 grams)
  • 1/3 cupsugar (about 75 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  • 4eggs
  • 10 1/4 ouncescream cheese (about 290 grams)
  • 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  • 5 tablespoonscinnamon
  • 1 cuppowdered sugar
  • as neededMilk

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix half of the flour with the yeast.

  2. 2

    Heat the milk, butter, and sugar.

  3. 3

    Gradually add the hot milk, salt, eggs, and the rest of the flour to the flour mixture, and let it rise for 2 hours.

  4. 4

    Mix the cream cheese, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

  5. 5

    Roll out the dough into a rectangle, cover with the cream cheese mixture, roll it up, cut into slices, and place them in a buttered pan. Let rise for 1 hour.

  6. 6

    Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 35 minutes.

  7. 7

    Mix the powdered sugar with milk to make the glaze and decorate the cooled rolls.
