Chop the potato into thin slices

Apply1/2 tsp turmeric powder, salt and keep it marinated for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile take a mixing bowl, put gram flour, salt, and half tsp turmeric powder, Mix well adjusting water to the batter consistency.

Now put the potato slices into the batter and mix well.

Heat a frying pan with oil, slide in the potato slices.

Pick one by one potato slice dipped into the batter and slowly put in the hot oil.

Fry them on both the sides keeping the flame on a medium.

Remove the fried potato fritters from the pan and serve hot with tea.

Or you can also sprinkle chaat masala or a pinch of black salt with coriander leaves for garnishing.
