Mix the ground beef with the grated onion and spices. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Shape the kofta onto skewers, wooden sticks, or even a thick pen to keep them light and not too dense. While shaping, wet your hands with the onion juice.

Heat a grill pan well, add a little oil, and start grilling the kofta. You can also bake them in a pan in the oven—they turn out delicious!
