Cut onion and potato

Sprinkle little salt and red chilli powder on it and keep aside

Heat oil in a wok for frying

Make a thick lump free batter of gram flour and rice flour adding water slowly.

Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and soda to the batter. Mix well to break all the lumps.

Dip slices of potatoes one by one and put them in hot oil and fry on low heat

Fry till they are crispy brown and take out when done. Keep on an absorbent paper for excess oil.

Similarly add chopped onions and potatoes in the batter and take small portions to fry in the oil.

Remove from the oil when done with the help of a slotted spoon

Enjoy hot fritters with ketchup and green chutney
