Steps

In a heating pan add 2 tablespoon of Oil and allow to heat.

Then add 4 to 5 nos of Cashews (Kaju), 4 to 5 nos of Garlic Cloves, 1 tsp of chopped Ginger, 1 cup of roughly chopped Onions and sauté for few min or until Onion changes the colour.

Add 1 cup of roughly chopped Tomatoes, ½ tsp of Salt and cook for 5 Min or until Tomatoes are soft.

Then blend the cooked mixture in a mixer grinder and blend into the smooth paste.

Then in the same pan, again add 2 tablespoon of Oil and allow to heat.

Add ½ tsp of Cumin Seeds (Jeera), 1 tsp of Red Chilli Powder, ¼ tsp of Turmeric Powder (Haldi) and mix well.

Furthermore, add ¼ cup of finely chopped Onions and sauté for 2 Min.

Then add ½ tsp of Coriander Powder (Dhaniya), ½ tsp of Garam Masala, ¼ tsp of Cumin Powder (Jeera), ¼ cup of finely chopped Coriander Leaves and mix well.

Then add the blended smooth paste into the pan and mix well.

Add ½ cup of Green Peas (Matar) and mix well.

Then add ½ tsp of Salt, 1 tsp of Sugar, 1 tsp of Fresh Cream (Malai), ½ cup of Water and mix well.

Finally add 300 gm of Cottage Cheese (Paneer) Cubes and give a nice mix.

Cover the lid and cook on medium flame for 2 Min.

Matar Paneer is now ready, garnish with fresh Coriander Leaves and serve with Naan / Roti or Rice.
