I wanted to make Dirt for work colleagues but Oreos are expensive in the UK and I couldn't find instant chocolate and vanilla pudding, so created this... and it turned out delicious!

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Make Chocolate Angel Delight (mousse) by following the instructions of whisking the powder into the 2 pints of milk. Refrigerate until firm and ready to use.

  2. 2

Crush all the chocolate biscuits finely to resemble soil and set aside.

  3. 3

Split the vanilla custard between 2 bowls... Bowl 1 and Bowl 2.

  4. 4

Whip the double cream until it becomes whipped cream. Divide it in half between the 2 bowls of vanilla custard.

  5. 5

Melt the dark chocolate either in the microwave or bain marie and add to Bowl 1. Mix until fully combined and set aside.

  6. 6

In Bowl 2, add the cream cheese, butter and powdered sugar. Mix until fully combined and set aside.

  7. 7

In a large flower pot or container, layer the dirt by starting with a layer of crushed biscuits, then a layer of chocolate mousse, then a layer of the cream cheese mixture and a layer of the chocolate custard mixture.

  8. 8

Continue the layers until you end with crushed biscuits on top. Decorate with jelly worms or fake/real flowers.

  9. 9

Chill for at least 2 hours before serving. Can be chilled overnight.
