Ingredients

  • 300 gself raising flour
  • 3 tablespoonmargarine
  • 3 tablespoonsugar
  • 3eggs
  • Orange rind
  • 7.5 gcardamon
  • 5 gsalt
  • 100 mlmilk

    Assemble all the ingridients

    Mix sugar and margarine

    Add eggs and whisk thoroughly

    Add flour, Orange rind, cardamom and salt, mix using your hands till the dough is crumbly

    Add milk and mix in to make dough

    Add a little cooking oil on the dough

    Cover the dough with polythene and let it rest for 20mins

    This is how the dough should look like on the inside after resting

    Pinch a small ball and flatten with rolling pin it should not be soo thin, then cut into desired shape

    Heat oil and dip fry make sure both sides are golden brown

    Remove from oil and place on kitchen towel to drain excess oil

    Let them cool and enjoy with a glass of juice or tea
