Ingredients

  1. 300 gramsground turkey
  2. 1/2onion, finely chopped
  3. 1/2 cupmilk
  4. Salt and ground pepper, to taste
  5. 1 cuppanko breadcrumbs
  6. 1egg
  7. 2-3green onions, sliced

Steps

    Mix the panko breadcrumbs and milk in a bowl, then set aside.

  2. 2

    Combine the ground turkey with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Add the turkey mixture, onion, green onions, and egg to the bowl with the panko and milk.

  4. 4

    Mix until the ingredients are well combined (you can use a blender if you have one).

  5. 5

    Shape the mixture into patties about 3/4 the size of your palm and toss them back and forth between your hands for about 10 seconds each.

  6. 6

    Place the patties in a non-stick pan without oil (make a small indentation in the center of each patty to ensure even cooking).

  7. 7

    Once all the patties are in the pan, cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, then cover with a lid.

  8. 8

    Cover for 5 minutes, then flip the patties and cook until fully done. Serve hot.

  9. 9

    For the sauce, you can use tonkatsu sauce or make your own by mixing 3 tablespoons mirin, 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, and 3 tablespoons ketchup. Microwave until slightly boiling. Enjoy with the burgers!
