Steps

In an electric mixer, Whisk together boiling water, oil, maziena, coffee and cocoa.

Add sugar and vanilla essence, mix well.

Sift in flour with 2 tsp of baking powder, mix well.

Beat in egg yolks 1 at a time mixing after each addition.

In a separate bowl, Whisk egg whites with 1/2 tsp baking powder till stiff, fold into batter

Pour batter into 2 round cake pans.

Bake in pre-heated oven for 20 to 25 minutes.

Remove when sides pulls away from the pan or when a toothpick comes out dry.
