Steps
- 1
Keep the water for boiling in a vessel.
- 2
Heat 1/4 cup ghee in a pan and roast the wheat flour until it turns golden brown and gives out a nice aroma.
- 3
Pour the boiling water on to this mixture and quickly stir it to avoid lumps.
- 4
Add the powdered sugar and cardamom powder and stir it well till the sugar gets absorbed into the mixture.
- 5
Now add the remain ghee in intervals and keep stirring till the entire ghee gets absorbed into the halwa and the halwa starts leaving the sides of the pan. The halwa will appear glossy. Turn off the stove. Garnish with roasted cashews and enjoy.
