Cinnamon-Coconut flavored local(ofada) rice with goat meat stew

Put a litre of clean water on fire, when boiled, pour the rice and parboiled for 8minutes

Drain and wash to get rid of starch and stones/dirt(you know some local rice have stones)

Put another litre of clean water on fire and if using coconut milk, you pour the milk in the pot, allow to boil, add cinnamon powder or stick, add the parboiled rice, and sea salt to taste. Allow to cook for 15minutes, if using coconut oil, you add little quantity at this point, cover and cook for another 5minutes.

Our tasty flavored rice is ready. Serve with stew of choice. I did enjoyed mine with goat meat stew and garnished with cucumber and shredded cabbage😋😋😋
