Ingredients

  1. 3/4 CupBasmati Rice
  2. 1 CupSugar
  3. 3 PiecesCardamoms
  4. 1/4 tspEdible Saffron Colour
  5. As requiredCashew Nuts, Walnuts, Raisins
  6. as neededGhee & Water

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and leave the rice in water for 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile, boil the water, adding edible saffron colour, cardamom, ghee and Rice to it. Boil the rice in a manner, that it do not stick and then drain the rice in strainer.

    Toss some cashew nuts, walnuts and raisins with ghee in pan.

    Take Ghee, Rice, all Nuts and Raisins in the same pan, mix well, cook it for 10 minutes at low flame and cover the pan. Cook the rice, till the water evaporates.

    Bengali Jorda Rice is ready. Plate and garnish it with dry fruits.
