Green Peas Soup

Steam the peas for five minutes. Drain the water and put the peas in ice cold water to retain it’s colour.

Grind the peas in a grinder with 300 ml water till it becomes a fine paste.

In a pot, sauté onions and garlic till lightly brown. Add the peas paste, white pepper, black pepper and salt and cook till it there’s a boil.

Add the coconut milk and about 300 ml of water and cook the soup till the peas are well cooked and don’t taste raw. Serve the soup either thick or thick/runny.
