Steps

Heat oil in a non stick pan, then add ladies finger, salt. Cook it till the colour of ladies finger is changed, then take it out in the plate.

Next add more oil in the same pan and add asafoetida and cumin seeds and wait for 1minute. Now add chopped onions and fry until raw smell is gone.

Then add chopped tomatoes and fry for few minutes. Next add ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix it all together properly, then add gram flour and curd and mix it.

Add 1 cup water into the masala, and fry until raw smell is gone. Next add ladies finger (bhindi). And cook for few minutes.

Then add garam masala powder, sugar and chopped coriander leaves. Next let it cook for 2-3 minutes and then take it out in a serving bowl and our Dahi Bhindi is ready to serve.
